TWG FDX Cup Playoffs

FDX Cup Standings

The TWG FDX Cup is positioned to be the 5th major of the year for our players on the TWG Tour. We will begin a playoff series immediately after the last regular major of the year, the PGA Championship.

The FDX Cup point system is shown below. Here is how the formula is derived. The last place person in any given event is given 5 points for playing. You continue to add 5 points to each person placing higher than the last until you get to the middle of the field. The upper half of the field takes the number that was last given and begins to add 10 points to each person until you reach first place. This helps weight the point system to the field that you are playing against. Obviously a larger field distributes more points among all the players. The advantage to this system is if you pay your extra entry in any given tournament, you will be automatically receiving a minimum of 5 points to your running total.

At the end of 10 regularly scheduled events that will begin immediately after the PGA Championship, we will begin the Tournament Championship. The point totals in the Championship are worth DOUBLE. The Tour Championship will be a regularly played 2 day Major.
